Flat Tire!

Today I blew out my back right tire on my 1993 Honda Accord. I was pulling out of the Buena Vista post office and somehow hit the curb going maybe 20 to 25 miles per hour. Ouch! Not good.

My good friend Chris came to the rescue and helped me put the spare on. I did not have a jack and so I felt pretty much helpless about the entire incident. (The fact that I did not have a jack in my trunk was troubling - I definitely need to buy a jack soon!)

Anyway, before I got the spare on and eventually replaced my snow tires with my summer tires, I got a shot of the flat. For some reason, I immediately thought of this piece of garbage web site and snapped a photo. My 1993 Honda Accord is still running good and strong, and I do my best to take care of it. ;)

Flat tires are definitely no fun, but hey, that's life. -Steve (April 25, 2006)
